A flat belly is like a badge of honor. It takes a lot of time to grow and develop, but when you have it, it looks damn good. It is a sign to everyone that you work out and you watch hat you eat. But to create this lean waist you need to use the right moves to activate all of the muscles between your shoulders and your waist. Try some of these exercises to get the most out of your abs:
If you want to lose that gut, you’ll have to do an exercise that uses all the muscles in your body, and a burpee does just that. Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart, and then lower your palms to the floor next to your legs. Kick your legs out until you are in pushup position, then do a pushup, and reverse the entire movement back to the start.
A mountain climber is basically a moving plank. Get into the pushup position and lift your right knee towards your chest. After tapping the floor with your right foot, return it to its original position and do the same with the left.
This is a great exercise to fix your posture. Using one dumbbell, assume the pushup position. With one arm holding the dumbbell, turn your body to it is facing left, your feet spread apart a bit but also facing left. Then lift the arm holding the dumbbell up and down as you maintain a straight posture.
Hot Potato Squat
This exercise will put a lot of strain on your core. Grab a light weight or medium dumbbell and assume the squat position. As you are performing squats, while rising, toss the dumbbell in between your hands, catching it with the other. Do this back and forth, but be careful not to drop it!
