Time is important, especially when working out. Working 40 hours a week and then going for a workout while balancing visiting the family and having time for yourself is tough. Wasting time in a locker room is not an option for a person that busy. Here are some tips to get in and out of the locker room quickly.
Keep Your Cool
If your workout is intense and makes you hot and sweaty, don’t spend precious time in the locker room trying to cool down. Incorporate that into your workout. Bring a towel to wipe your face down. You can run a towel under some cold water and wash between sets to decrease your redness.
Taking a Shower
Feeling sweaty? If you really need to take a shower, it’s a good idea. But a tip is to keep the water cold. The water will help your body lower its temperature so you can stop sweating and get dressed and out of there faster.
Find a Fan
Sweating pretty hard? Try to locate a fan or an AC vent in the locker room to cool down quickly. The wind is going to help accelerate the evaporation of your sweat, getting you back to normal quickly.
Blow It Away
If your hair is sweaty from a shower a great idea is to blow-dry your hair with a cool blow dryer. It’s a lot better than waiting for it to dry. The chilly cold air will help bring your body temperature down as well, a lot faster than normal.
Pack to Leave
Another tip to get out of the locker room faster is to pack up your clothes and stuff in the most efficient possible way. When you come back to the locker room to leave, you’ll have everything ready to change and go as soon as possible.
