Everyone knows that you should bulk up by eating a lot of protein, and while you’re at it, you should be coming to a lot of meat rather just chugging down protein shakes.
The best source of meats for your diet depends on what you’re working out on and what kind of workout you have. Never heard of this? Well, we have put this to the test and over the course of 6 weeks, we have seen a significant increase in gains from our favorite volunteer at Men’s Health Trends –> Jarvis.
Pork is the 4th (and the worst) meat in our list of proteins. This is because it’s usually very high in bad fat and the fat percentage of the protein is not usually worth it. It could be a cheap alternative if you can’t afford too much meat, but otherwise, don’t consume too much or else you’ll get clogged arteries!
Beef is our 3rd best meat when it comes to protein. It’s also the most common and is the cheapest out of the top 3. Beef is great for people who are doing full-on weight training and lifting. You can easily pack on a lot of calories with beef, so it’s great for people who are bulking up.
Chicken is the 2nd best meat when it comes to protein! It’s really high in protein, and if you’re talking about chicken breast, it’s low in fat as well. Chicken is great for people who weight lift but also do cardio. It’s affordable and it’s also great for people who want to lose weight.
Seafood is our #1 meat. Although you probably wouldn’t normally consider fish a meat, it has its high share of protein and it’s great for people who want to bulk or cut. It’s also high in omega3 fats which are good for digestion and is said to prevent a lot of cancers.
